How long does it take for my transfer to reach its destination?

Remitbee is committed to bringing the fastest and lowest cost money transfer service possible.

Many country corridors such as India we have already built money in minutes service and others we are continuously striving to make it quicker.

Most delays happen for these common reasons:

Compliance verification requiring additional documentation from Remitbee or receiving bank
Overseas Payment processor hours of operation
Wrong Recipient details
Your payment method for transfers.

More precise hours of delivery is displayed when adding the recipient

Question 2

I have sent my money from bank but I don't see the credit in my wallet

Accepted Answer

Your wallet may not have been credited for a couple of reasons, however it's important to note that you can still proceed to lock your rate and send the money.

Simply go to send money page, type the amount beside the recipient, then on review page select "my wallet" then click the method you choose to fund your transfer then click pay and send!

Wallet transactions are processed into your wallet accounts between 10am- 8pm EST Daily and we must receive the payments between this time.

Interac E transfers typical take 30 mins to 1 hour to reach us.

Bill payments typically take 1 business day to reach us.

For example if you do bill payment before 4 pm EST on Monday, it will arrive by 10am EST on Tuesday, however, if you do bill payment at 7 pm EST on Monday, then it will arrive by 10am Wednesday.

In other cases, you may have provided incorrect information, for example, you may have misspelled our email address (wallet@remitbee.com) or may have provided the wrong security question and/or security answer (user id)

Funds on Temporary Hold In a rare case, there may be an issue with the bank or Interac network.

Due to security reasons, the bank may have held your funds on hold.

In that case, you are required to contact your bank and let them know that you made a transaction and you would like them to authorize it (Error code: ER/J/EMT-9997).

Verification Process

You may have signed up with Remitbee and might be wondering what the next step is. The next step is the verification process. You may be wondering what exactly does that mean. This means that you will be required to submit two documents to verify your account.

A Recent PDF version or digital screenshot of bank statement or credit card statement that includes your name, address, and account number. It can be downloaded from your online account at your financial institution. Here is an example of the format we expect for the utility bill and bank statement. A Recent PDF version or digital screenshot of a Utility Bill (ie. Hydro, Phone Bill) or Bank statement/Credit Card statement from a different financial institution other than one submitted already to Remitbee. Here is an example of a utility bill and a bank statement that you can provide us for verification process.

If in the situation you are new to Canada, you can submit two of the following documents.

T4 statement Record of Employment Investment account statements (for example, RRSP, GIC) Travel visa We will also need all you to submit your Landing PR and front page of your passport.

You have two options to submit your documents to Remitbee:

You can upload the documents on your Remitbee profile or You can email it to customercare@remitbee.com and we will upload it for you to your profile The verification process does not take long to do. In fact, it takes approximately five minutes to have your account verif

How do I cancel a transaction?

If you would like to cancel a transaction that has been sent however not settled, you can email customercare@remitbee.com with the transaction number and reason for cancellation.

Once we receive your request, we will send a confirmation of cancellation which usually is within 1 business day.

If the money has still not reached the recipient after successfully funding the transfer, then you can email customercare@remitbee.com to request the refund.

Once you request the refund, we will confirm the refund within 1-2 business days. Once it is confirmed if you paid with interac or visa debit then the money will be returned 1-2 business days after the refund has been issued.

Wallet funded transfers will be returned back to your Remitbee wallet, once cancellation is authorized.

How to Verify my account?

To verify the account you need to submit :

A Recent PDF version or digital screenshot of a Bank statement/Credit Card statement
